A reminder the Ruby Hay Pianoforte Scholarship is being held this Sunday 20th October 2019, 2.00 p.m. at the UC School of Music Recital Room (entrance off Hereford Street).
We have 3 contestants who will each perform a solo recital not less than 25 minutes and not more than 32 minutes duration. The programme shall include not less than three works of contrasting styles by different composers. The 3 contestants are: Hannah Brand, Katie Gluyas and Dennis Yan.
Entry Fee is: Adults $20.00; Students under 15 years $5.00. Eftpos will be available.
Come along and support these wonderful young contestants! First prize is $1,000.00 (from the Ruby Hay Scholarship fund administered by Christchurch Civic Music Council ) and second prize is $200.00 (The Lois Mackintosh Award administered by IRMT).
