National Concerto Competition Final – Saturday 7th March 2015,

We were treated to a wonderful evening of music at the National Concerto Competition Final last evening.  The music was exciting and it captured the large audience which attended.   The results are as follows:

1st Prize – Bradley Wood (Christchurch) – $7,000

Second Prize – Kent Isomura (Auckland) – $3,000

Third Prize – Liam Wooding (Wanganui) – $1,500

People’s Choice – Bradley Wood – $150

Junior Jury – Liam Wooding – $100

Finalists are announced!

We wish to congratulate Kent Isomura (Auckland), Bradley Wood (Christchurch) and Liam Wooding (Wanganui) on reaching the Final of the National Concerto Competition 2014/2015.  We were treated to 6 inspiring performances last evening.  Kent, Bradley and Liam will go on to contest the Final on Saturday 7th March 2015!  Further information and photos will be available very soon.  (updated 8.00 a.m. Thursday 11th December 2014)

Tuesday 9th December from 7.00 p.m. to 9.45 p.m
Wednesay 10th December from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Semi-Final:
Wednesday 10th December at 7.00 p.m

Entries for this years Competiton have now closed.  A Rehearsal and Preliminary schedule will be available at the end of October for the Contestants.  This will be emailed and you will also be able to find a link on this page when it is completed.  (Updated Friday 24th October).

 

This year the Competition is for Piano.  The Competition is being held in Christchurch on Monday 8th December 2014 until Wednesday 10th December 2014 (Preliminaries and Semi-Finals) and the Final will be at the Aurora Centre on Saturday 7th March 2015.
