Operatunity presents “The Great Gatsby Era” on Wednesday 25th May 2016, 11.00 a.m. at La Vida Centre, 34a Hansons Lane, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch.

In the 20s and 30s, when clothing, architecture and styles were elegant; when lyrics were poetic and music had melody, great artists wrote some of the best songs ever written.  In a concert of glamour, razzmatazz and more than a little fun we’ll feature composers like Gershwin, Berlin, Kern, Novello and Noel Coward and artists such as Bing Cosby, Billie Holiday and Judy Garland.
