This concert celebrates the music of Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin, two giants of 20th century American culture. Their pioneering approach to combining elements of classical music with jazz-influenced effects have produced some of the most memorable works of the era.

Acclaimed as one of the great interpreters of Gershwin’s music, pianist Simon Tedeschi joins the CSO to perform Rhapsody in Blue and Variations on I Got Rhythm.
