Christchurch City Choir presents “Handel’s Messiah” on Saturday 7th December 2019, 7.30 p.m. at Christchurch Town Hall
The Christchurch City Choir is excited to bring their annual performance of Handel’s Messiah back to the Christchurch Town Hall.
This year’s performance will be boosted by the Christchurch Youth Choir, conducted by Dr John Linker and accompanied by the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. Martin Setchell will accompany the chorus on the Rieger organ and Grant Bartley will play the harpsichord. Our soloists are all returning home to the South Island to sing in the Town Hall and join the City Choir in the traditional Christmas treat that is Handel’s Messiah.
