Music specially composed for the Tresoli Piano Trio by Christchurch raised New Zealand composer Anthony Ritchie will feature in Christopher’s Classics’ upcoming August programme.  The Trio, Susan Farmer (violin), Jenny Davey (cello) and Rosemary Stott (piano), will be joined by the eminent New Zealand violist Professor Donald Maurice in a programme that includes Smetana, Faure and Martin as well as the Ritchie composition.  Professor Maurice will play in place of Vyvyan Yendoll, who has had to step aside because of illness.

Tresoli Piano Trio – Tresoli was formed in 2000 and has performed regularly as a piano trio in the Friday Lunchtime Concert Series at the Great Hall of the Christchurch Arts Centre and has given recitals throughout the South Island.
