Woolston Brass presents “KidsFest Big Brass Bang!

Woolston Brass presents “KidsFest Big Brass Bang! on Sunday 2nd July 2023, 2.00pm to 3.00pm at McCombs Performing Arts Centre (Cashmere High School)

In association with KidsFest, Woolston Junior Band with Music Director Vickie van Uden will entertain and showcase their talents performing a diverse range of fun and entertaining music that will get you clapping along and bouncing in your seat! The 60-minute concert will feature tunes such as ‘Ghostbusters’, Bruno Mars hit ‘Marry You’, a brand-new march composition entitled ‘Christchurch City March’, and ‘Singing in the Rain’ featuring an array of wonderful percussion instruments from Xylophone to Vibraphone.

Come along to enjoy and be inspired by this fine band that consists of the up-and-coming talented generation of brass and percussion players. After the concert there will be opportunities to try a brass instrument and learn more about the Academy.
