Waimakariri Community Arts Council presents “A Night at the Gallery with Alexandra Hope”

$5 – $20We’re pleased to host our local talented soprano Alexandra Hope for our next Chamber Gallery concert on Sunday 4 June at 4.30pm.
Alexandra will take you on an inspirational journey through continents and over time, from French chanson, Italian opera and German lied to the wonders of musical theatre.
Alexandra studied at the University of Canterbury and is now completing her Master of Arts (Music) in Performance Voice and Composition. She has been a member of UC Chamber Choir, Consortia for 6 years. She performed as ‘Galatea’ in Handel’s Opera “Acis and Galatea” and ‘Belinda’ in Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas”. She recently performed in the
Christchurch New Zealand Opera Chorus for the 2022 performance of “Macbeth” at the Isaac Theatre Royal.

We’d love you to join her, and accompanist Iola Shelley, for this very special late Sunday afternoon of song, and the opportunity to meet and chat following her performance.
