Stefano, a passionate Italian wine maker met Anna whilst she was singing in Italy and moved to New Zealand to create a new life with her. They married and last year just before the birth of their first child Matteo, Stefano was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of Motor Neurone Disease. Already he is facing many frightening challenges, which require great emotional, physical and financial support. Anna has had to withdraw from singing “Katya Kabanova” for New Zealand Opera later this year.
