Ruby Hay Pianoforte Scholarship competition

The Ruby Hay Pianoforte Scholarship is being held on Sunday 20th October 2019, 2.00 p.m. at the UC School of Music Recital Room (entrance off Hereford Street).

We have 3 contestants who will each perform a solo recital not less than 25 minutes and not more than 32 minutes duration. The programme shall include not less than three works of contrasting styles by different composers.

Entry Fee is: Adults $20.00; Students under 15 years $5.00. Eftpos will be available.

Come along and support these wonderful young contestants! First prize is $1,000.00 (from the Ruby Hay Scholarship fund administered by Christchurch Civic Music Council ) and second prize is $200.00 (The Lois Mackintosh Award administered by IRMT).
