Risingholme Orchestra presents “Pedals and Strums”

Risingholme Orchestra proudly presents their concert Pedals and Strums on Sunday 4 November at 2.00pm at Knox Church 28 Bealey Avenue, Christchurch.  Soloists Daniel Cooper (Organ) and Matthew Marshall (Classical Guitar) will join Risingholme Orchestra under the expert baton of Philip Norman to present an afternoon of music including Symphony No.1 for Organ and Orchestra by Alexandre Guilmant and Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra by Ulrik Neumann.

Other delicacies include an operatic overture by Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Gomez and mood music from the land of World Cup football Mussorgsky’s –Dawn over the   Moscow River.
