Alex will play a concerto that was written and performed by the 18th century virtuoso Czech horn player, born Jan Václav Stich but who performed and composed under the name Giovanni Punto. Just as this concerto is seldom performed, we will present other rarely heard works of Rossini – Il Signor Bruschino and Prokofiev’s Overture on Hebrew Themes, and his Symphony no 7.
