Hot on the heels of Jubilate Singers’ successful ‘God Save the Queens’ concert, comes a further right royal celebration of music composed for the monarchs of Great Britain. This time, it is to mark the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III. With Christchurch Symphonic Brass – Thomas Eves, Slade Hocking, Barrett Hocking (trumpets) and Karl Margevka, Scott Taitoko, Pablo Ruiz Henao (trombones) – and with Jeremy Woodside (organ), the repertoire will be music to the ears of brass lovers, Anglophiles, monarchists and appreciators of outstanding choral composition alike. Featuring five centuries of music by Morley, Purcell, Handel, Parry, Vaughan Williams, Malcolm Arnold, Walton and more.
