IRMT presents “Rediscovering Brahms” with Robin Wilson – Violin and Read Gainsford – Piano in recital at The Transitional Cathedral on Wednesday 18th January 2017 at 8.00 p.m.

Programme:

• Sonata in G major, Op. 78
• Sonata in D minor, Op. 101

An acclaimed expert on the historically informed performance of Brahm’s music, Robin Wilson was awarded the prestigious 2014 Geiringer Prize from the American Brahms Society.  He will present a spoken introduction entitled “Rediscovering Brahms”.
