$5.00 – $10.00Concerts for Christchurch Foundation Trust presents “Musical Mentors – Cathy Irons and Barry Brinson” on Friday 8th May 2015, 1.10 p.m. to 1.50 p.m. at St Augustine’s Church, Cracroft Terrace, Cashmere.
Cathy Irons (Violin), Barry Brinson (Piano, Organ) – ‘Classical Jazz’.
This versatile duo team up for a dazzling collection of jazz-infused classics from Bach to Gershwin. They have presented concerts throughout New Zealand since 2009 and perform a wide range of styles and repertoire. Cathy is a first violinist in the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and an active chamber musician, and Barry is an established Christchurch pianist, organist and harpsichordist with interests ranging from classical organ and jazz piano to composing, arranging and directing choral and instrumental ensembles.
Complimentary freshly brewed coffee and biscuits will be served after each concert in this series.
Door donations: $10.00 per person; $5.00 for Music Centre Friends, Students and Seniors.
