Christopher’s Classic Season – Amici Ensemble wsith Diedre Irons – 8.00 p.m.

The Amici Ensemble presents an exciting programme for Christopher’s Classics. The concert will feature pianist Diedre Irons who will join the Amici Ensemble for the mighty Brahms Piano Quintet and the beautiful Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor, K. 478. Also featured is the masterful string quartet Ainsi la Nuit by Henri Dutilleux. Each of its movements highlights various special effects (pizzicato, glissandi, harmonics, extreme registers, contrasting dynamics, etc) resulting in a sparkling and fascinating work.
