Christopher Everest presents “Fantasy Variations”

My name is Christopher Everest and I am a recent graduate of the New Zealand School of Music as a Classical Guitarist. On Saturday August 27th I will be performing a concert in Christchurch at St Barnabas, Fendalton as part of the ‘Fantasy Variations’ tour sponsored by the Waikanae Music Society – this tour has been put together to share the beauty of the classical guitar and connect with students and teachers around the country to build a strong New Zealand Classical Guitar Community.
The concert features a colourful programme of works from ‘Bach to Bogdanovič, with a touch of New Zealand’. Percussion effects, Middle Eastern influence, programmatic music and theatrical storytelling throughout!
