The Christchurch Schools’ Music Festival – “Te Ara Puoro – Sounds of New Zealand” is being held from Tuesday 1st November 2022 through to Friday 4th November 2022 at Douglas Lilburn Auditorium, Christchurch Town Hall, Kilmore Street, Christchurch

It is with much excitement that we bring you a programme which celebrates our New Zealand history, culture and beauty. “Te Ara Puoro, Sounds of New Zealand” with music by our local composers, reflects pieces from all eras, touching on the many cultures in Aotearoa and honours the beauty of our land. Join us and nearly 4000 primary school students over four nights to celebrate the historic event that is the Christchurch Schools’ Music Festival.
