Join us for an afternoon recital of music from around the globe, exploring the folk music and landscapes of France, Armenia, America and New Zealand.

NZ musicians Sarah Masters and Anastasiya Filippochkina have recently returned from the UK and Ukraine respectively, home to our shores during these uncertain times, and are delighted to be joined by local pianist Michael Lawrence to celebrate performing live music to a real live audience -at a time where most music venues around the world are closed and live music has fallen silent for the best part of a year.
The trio are thrilled to present a programme which includes works by French, Armenian and American composers, as well as two New Zealand works. These pieces evoke the landscapes, characters, emotions, voices, sights and sounds of these varied lands, and the composers’ experiences within them.
