Opera is a way to tell a story through music and drama – and Christchurch City Choir is delighted to bring you its latest concert: Night at the Opera. This is a powerful evening of excerpts from classic opera and musical theatre, featuring a choir of up to 80 voices performing well-loved repertoire spanning 400 years. Composers include Purcell, Puccini, Mozart, Verdi, Britten, Bernstein, and Rodgers and Hammerstein. Guest soloists are Rebecca Ryan (soprano) and Kieran Kelly (baritone). The programme brings together elegance, music, and sophistication. Prepare to be entertained, entranced and delighted!
