Join City Choir Christchurch for a reflective winter concert featuring Bob Chilcott’s lyrical Requiem, a moving modern masterpiece that blends lyrical melodies with rich harmonies. Paired with this are two Bach motets (Komm, Jesu, Komm and Lobet den Herrn) and a solo organ performance of Bach’s Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor by Jeremy Woodside.
Conducted by John Linker, the programme also features soloists Nicola Holt and Jared Holt, with guest players from the Christchurch Youth Orchestra. This concert promises an unforgettable journey through the emotional depth and technical brilliance of choral tradition.
