Join us for an unforgettable musical journey with the Christchurch Youth Orchestra as they present “Transformations” on Saturday, 27 July at 3:30pm. Experience the powerful “Wreckers Overture” by Ethel Smyth, the vivid imagery of Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” and the world premiere of a cello concerto by local composer Patrick Shepherd, featuring the extraordinary talent of cellist Ashley Brown. Don’t miss this opportunity to support our talented young musicians.  Patrick Shepherd will give a pre-concert talk about his composition at 3.10pm in the auditorium.
