Resonance Ensemble presents ” Shall We Dance”

Resonance Ensemble presents “Shall We Dance” on Sunday 26th November 2023, 3.00 p.m. at The Piano, 156 Armagh Street, Christchurch

In just two weeks we will present our final concert for this year. Dance-inspired masterpieces, from Saint-Saëns to Tchaikovsky, Brahms to Elgar, and Franz von Suppé to Richard Rodgers, this programme is full of sparkling gems that will cater to every taste! 
Rehearsals are well underway and this week we welcomed our featured soloist, Rakuto Kurano.

Rakuto Kurano is a multi-instrumentalist and versatile Japanese/New Zealand performer, composer, director, and educator. Over the past three years he has given more than 200 performances around New Zealand, ranking as one of New Zealand’s most active touring artists, performing on violin, viola, piano, baroque violin, and baroque viola.  You can read more about this dynamic and characterful performer here:   https://rakutokurano.com/
