Come along to a lively Sunday afternoon concert performed by Risingholme Orchestra under the baton of Philip Norman.
This concert highlights compositions and arrangements by the former Christchurch-based trumpeter Doug Kelly, who was a loyal and valued member of Risingholme Orchestra for 30 years.
Other works include Weber’s Bassoon Concerto with featured Auckland-based soloist Sam Brough, and popular pieces by Khachaturian (Spartacus Ballet Suite No. 2), Mascagni (“Intermezzo” from Cavalleria Rusticana), Saint-Saëns and Martini.
