Great Hall Lunchtime Concert Series 2023 presents “Anna Maksymova (piano)” on Monday 4th September 2023, 1.10 p.m to 1.50 p.m at Great Hall, Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre, Worcester Boulevard, Christchurch
Christchurch-based pianist Anna Maksymova regularly appears in concert with members of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, the Tres Cordes ensemble, as well as at Dame Malvina Major Foundation events. This year she will be presenting the grandiose Pictures at an Exhibition by Moussorgsky, a work full of vivid musical imagery, excitement, drama and fairytale spirit.
