Waimakariri Community Arts Council presents “An inspiring evening with Tokowha”

$15 – $35Adore the sound of pitch perfect voices in harmony? We’re thrilled to invite you to an inspiring evening in the Chamber Gallery with Tokowhā’s charismatic ensemble who will fuse classics from the operatic repertoire to Broadway songs, and jazz standards to Māori and Pasifika music.

Tokowhā is a quartet of four young musicians who came together at Te Koki New Zealand School of Music. Individually they have performed all over NZ as soloists in choirs, principal roles in opera, award winning barbershop quartets and as members of different modern opera ensembles. Their repertoire range includes operatic arias, art songs, lieder, melodie and show tunes. Tokowhā is quickly building a devoted following, and this is an opportunity for you to hear one of our most exciting and impressive young groups at the beginning of their career.
