DESCRIPTION:University of Southern California Chambers Singers with the Jubilate Singers.  The USC Chamber Singers is conducted by Jo-Michael Scheibe\, Chair of the Department of Choral and Sacred Music and President of the American Choral Directors’ Association.  Since its inception by Charles Hirt over a half-century ago\, the choir has been consistently hailed as a model for excellence in choral performance.  In addition\, to their own contributions\, the Jubilate Singers will join the USCS in performance of David Hamilton’s Veni Sancte Spiritus and Morten Lauridsen’s O nata lux. \nAll proceeds go to the Christchurch Earthquake Relief Fund. The concert will feature pianist Diedre Irons who will join the Amici Ensemble for the mighty Brahms Piano Quintet and the beautiful Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor\, K. 478.  Also featured is the masterful string quartet Ainsi la Nuit by Henri Dutilleux.
