Great Hall Lunchtime Concert Series presents “Whekau”

Great Hall Lunchtime Concert Series presents  “Whekau”  on Monday 17th May 2021, 1.10 pm to 1.50 pm at The Great Hall, Arts Centre, 2 Worcester Blvd, Christchurch

Members of Whekau, Alison Holden (piano) and Mark Hobson (saxophone and clarinet) are thrilled to have Rachel Doig (soprano) to join them for this concert.  The programme is centred around Anthony Ritchie’s Fantasy for Soprano Saxophone and Orchestra.  This is a newly penned piano reduction of this work which was written for Mark in 1996.
