Jubilate Singers present “Christmas with the Jubilate Singers”

Jubilate Singers present “Christmas with the Jubilate Singers” on Saturday 10th December 2016, 7.30 p.m. at St Michael and All Angels, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.

Music Director: Susan Densem

Martin Setchell (Organ), Helen Webby (Harp) with the Jubilate Chamber Orchestra.  A festive first half is framed by three versions of the beautiful text, O Magnum Mysterium, spanning 6 centuries by choral composing superstars Victoria, Poulenc and American Morten Lauridsen.  Also featured is the beautiful Spanish song El Rorro.

For Saint-Saens’ Oratorio de Noel in the second half, the choir is joined by five esteemed NZ soloists: Helen Charlton (soprano), Claire Barton (mezzo-soprano), Margot Button (alto), Lachlan Craig (tenor), Harry Grigg (baritone).
