Christopher’s Classics Series XX – 2015 presents “Aroha Quartet” on Wednesday 27th May 2015, 8.00 p.m. at St Michael and All Angels Church

Appearing regularly in the Christopher’s Classics series, the Aroha Quartet joins us again to celebrate over 10 years of music making as a quartet.  Formed in 2004 from members of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the quartet is committed to presenting a range of string quartet works from traditional Chinese folk music to western classical and avant-garde repertoire as well as collaborating with national and international musicians on works for larger groups.

Haydn – Quartet op. 33 No. 2 in B flat major, ‘Joke’
Lilburn – Quartet in E Minor
Beethoven – Quartet op. 59 No. 3 in C
