Christopher’s Classics Series XIX – 2014 presents “NZ Trio” on Wednesday 13th August 2014 at 8.00 p.m. at Church of St Michael and All Angels, 86 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch

Fresh from a triumphant trip to Cambodia and China, NZ Trio arrive in Christchurch to perform one of their typical genre busting programmes, combining classical masterpieces with stunning contemporary works.

Their Christopher’s Classics concert begins with a powerful Beethoven trio, followed by one of NZ Trio’s latest commissions, Lightbox by New Zealander Karlo Margetic, together with Aegean, a gentle, mesmerising work by fellow New Zealander John Psathas and finishing with a dramatic and moving trio by Dvorak.
