Christchurch City Choir presents “A Tour Through Time”

The next Christchurch City Choir presents “A Tour Through Time” on Sunday 2nd July, 2.00p.m. at The Piano, 156 Armagh Street, Christchurch

It will be a slight change of direction for the Choir as John Linker puts on his Bus Conductor hat and takes us all on A Tour Through Time with a time travelling Doctor – musical humourist Philip Norman – demonstrating its versatility as a choir and illustrating the many ways choral music has won hearts and minds over the ages.

Medieval standards, opera classics, drinking songs, battle hymns, jazz, show tunes, modern marvels of the choral repertoire, and a little bit of Cohen for good measure.

Join Tour Guide Philip Norman, Bus Conductor John Linker, Soprano soloist Helen Charlton, Pianists Sarah Kang and Harry Meehan and the Christchurch City Choir for a relaxed Sunday afternoon drive.

Tickets are $30.00 adults and $15.00 students.  Book online through Evenfinda or purchase your ticket from i-Site at the Arts Centre.  There will be cash or cheque only door sales on the day.
