CBS Music presents “Organ Plus Series”

CBS Music presents “Organ Plus Series” on Friday 28th April 2017, 5.30 p.m. at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, Christchurch.

This recital will be given by Johann Vexo, Choir Organist since 2004 at Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, and since 2009 also organist of the Cathedral of Nancy.  He performs many concerts, both in France and abroad (Europe, North America, Russia) and has recorded several CDs on historical French organs, especially one for JAV recordings on the great organ of Notre-Dame de Paris.  He brings with him as an associate artist the principal tenor of the Notre Dame Cathedral choir.

After the concert, the audience is invited to a pre-ordered meal in the adjacent CBS Music Centre, already proving a popular venue for smaller scale recitals and social events.  Pizzas and a variety of drinks will be on offer.  It is expected that the recitalist will speak on some of the highlights of his busy career, and offer some insights on areas of topical interest.
